DONATIONS
The High Five Project!
January 26, 2010
Dear Parents/Guardians and Community Members of Whitefish Schools:
Imagine this: If you donate $5.00 today to the Whitefish Education Foundation (WEF), your $5.00 may be worth thousands to our children’s education. How? The High Five Campaign has been launched as a community-wide effort asking for a $5.00 donation from parents, family members, educators, and community and business members. The monies collected now will go towards our upcoming Spring 2010 teacher/classroom grants.
We know these continue to be “lean” financial times for many people—but by pulling together, we could truly make a difference in our children’s education! These grant dollars have funded past math programs, educational field trips, drama events, purchased science equipment, orchestra uniforms, musical instruments, teacher training, art easels, digital cameras, third grade calculators, and the list goes on!
Let’s take a look at what a difference families and educators could make by contributing $5.00 each:
| If 1,600 parents gave $5.00 |
$8,000.00 |
| If 500 community members gave $5.00 each |
$2,500.00 |
| |
$10,500.00 |
Over the past three years, Whitefish Education Foundation has placed over $34,000 directly into Whitefish School teachers’ classrooms.
Parents/guardians can drop off their $5.00 to the individual school office area in the High Five Education Foundation Bucket(s). You can also DONATE ONLINE. And one more thing—that would be extremely helpful—please pass this important message on to relatives, friends, co-workers and church members.
We appreciate you supporting our students and teachers of Whitefish School District. Your $5.00 will make a huge difference in our schools!
