Application Procedure
The Advisory Board of the Education Foundation is requesting the Whitefish School District to solicit interested parties to submit this application for receipt of funds in compliance with the following application procedure:

  • All applicants must complete the formal application for an Education Foundation grant.  The Advisory Board will not consider incomplete application(s).
  • The application must be requested and completed by an administrator, teacher, or coach of the Whitefish School District.
  • Each application must have the building principal’s signature indicating that he/she has seen the completed application.
  • A budget must be detailed to the amount requested and itemized for expenditures of such budget.
  • A short 250 word or less explanation is required describing the need for the grant and how it will be used to benefit the Whitefish School District in a manner consistent with the goals of the Education Foundation.
  • Grants awarded must be spent during the school year of application.
  • All programs or projects receiving grants will be required to give a Feedback Report to the Advisory Board of the Education Foundation upon use of the grant amount.  All monies granted and not spent must be returned to the Education Foundation.
  • The Education Foundation Advisory Board will evaluate and judge all applications and make grants accordingly based on a majority decision of the Advisory Board.
