ABOUT WEF

The Whitefish School District Education Foundation was established in 2006 to maintain and enhance the educational opportunities, programs and standards of the Whitefish School District so that it may become one of the most highly regarded school districts in the country.  It is the goal of the Education Foundation to establish a permanent endowment fund for the benefit of the Whitefish School District’s students, educators, and other patrons while at the same time making funds immediately available to enrich current educational programs in need and create new programs for educational growth.

OUR STUDENTS, OUR TEACHERS, OUR COMMUNITY
While the current emphasis of the Education Foundation is on fundraising, these fundraising efforts are only the means to an end. The Whitefish community is filled with people who do not have direct connections to our schools, and yet whose support is indispensable if our schools are to be successful. The real value of the Education Foundation lies in its ability to:

  • Promote and acknowledge student achievement;
  • Encourage and recognize excellence in teaching;
  • Raise community awareness and involvement in public education; and
  • Foster connections, and consolidate and organize resources.

    It is with these goals in mind that we ask for your help. As John F. Kennedy once said, “Our progress as a nation can be no swifter than our progress in education. The human mind is our fundamental resource.”

    The Children of Whitefish will benefit educationally from your contribution in turn creating a stronger and more productive community.

    Sincerely,

    Richard Kramer , Chair
